Prayer of Repentance
Father, I come to you today with a heavy heart. I know I have sinned against you. I know I have put people and thing before you. I ask that you forgive me of my wrongdoing. Help me forgive those that have wronged me. Also bring to my attention the thing that I am doing wrong that I am not aware of. I want to be cleansed of these things. So, I can reflect you. Lord, help me lead a repented lifestyle. One where I don’t want to go back to my old ways but move forward in yours. Lord, soften my heart so that I may love like you. Father, I love you and I know what you have done for me. I know that you gave your son to die on the cross for me. Through accepting Jesus as my Lord and savior you have forgiven me of all my sin and set me free from all me bondage. For this I am very grateful, and I thank you for your forgiveness today. I ask all these things in the name of Jesus Amen.
Prayer for Strength
Lord, strengthen me today. I know your word says you are my refuge and my strength. You are my ever-present help in trouble. That you will strengthen and uphold me. You have told me to be strong, courageous and not to be discouraged or fear. That you are with me wherever I go. That you have equipped me with your power, love, and self-discipline. For that I thank you Lord. I know you are strengthening me right now for the obstacles I am facing. Also, the ones that I will have to face in the future. I thank you for your word and that it does not come back void. That you cannot lie so I can trust your every word. I am entrusting that you are strengthening me right now. Thank you for your strength. Amen
